Inflow of chilli crop remains unchanged ~50,000 bags at Guntur market; however trades were down in the absence of demand from export and domestic front. Spot rates traded steadily around Rs 9,000 per quintal.

Spot market for Jeera at Unjha will remain close, this week on account of Diwali festival and normal trading activities are expected to resume only from next week onwards.

Spot rates of pepper garbled declined to Rs 348 per kg and that of un-garbled was down at Rs 333 per kg. Arrivals increased to 15 tons & trades too were up at 85 tons at Kochi market, as per IPSTA. Spot market for Turmeric at Nizamabad & Erode will remain close this week on account of Diwali festival and normal trading activities are expected to resume only from next week.

Average price of small cardamom declined to Rs 554.5 per kg, while the maximum price offered was down at Rs 764.5 per kg.

Total inflow of small cardamom crop declined to 54.4 tons from which 52.9 tons were sold at CPA auction held at Santhanpara.

Major soya bean markets of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra closed on Monday for Dhanteras festival.

The total arrivals of soya bean crop from harvest fresh increased last week to more than 10lakh bags across major trading centers.

Spot rates of soya bean offered by planters were up above 22 per kg while the rates offered at mandis of Indore were up at Rs 21.2-Rs 21.5 per kg. Guar seed crop arrivals increased to 3,159 quintals, while the average of the closing spot rates was up at Rs 4,014.1 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan.

Inflow of mustard seed crop increased to 31,282 quintals, while average of closing spot rates were down at Rs 2,610.3 per quintal, as per agriculture
marketing board of Rajasthan.

The total arrivals of mustard seed crop were unchanged from the previous session and stood ~65,000 bags while the spot rates too were steady at Rs 3,000-Rs 3,050 per quintal, across major trading centers.
