Adani Power, Tata Power surge as Coal India to sign FSA

Government has issued Presidential Directive for Coal India (CIL), reports CNBC-TV18, quoting sources.

Coal India will be directed to sign fuel supply agreements (FSAs) shortly with power companies. Presidential Directives has issued under clause 37 of MoA of CIL.

Adani Power touched an intraday high of Rs 73.35 and an intraday low of Rs 71.50. At 09:18 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 73.25, up Rs 2.85, or 4.05%. It was trading with volumes of 266,026 shares.

Tata Power Company touched an intraday high of Rs 104.25 and an intraday low of Rs 102.75. At 09:18 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 103.70, up Rs 2.40, or 2.37%. It was trading with volumes of 67,692 shares.
