OMDC to mull merger, bonus share; stock rises 9%

Shares of Orissa Minerals Development Company (OMDC) gained as much as 9.3% intraday on Wednesday as the company is going to consider bonus share issue and stock split on August 9.

Shares of Orissa Minerals Development Company (OMDC) gained as much as 9.3% intraday on Wednesday as the company is going to consider bonus share issue and stock split on August 9. It will also consider merger of Bisra Stone Lime with itself on the same day.

At 11:38 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 49,398, up 7.11% after hitting an intraday high of Rs 50,400 and low of Rs 46,250.

Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 2,963.88 crore.

On Tuesday, the share had gained 8.24% to close at Rs 46,119.05.
