Digital entertainment and technology company JetSynthesys is strengthening its leadership team with three key hires to drive growth across its video gaming, entertainment and sports verticals, the company said on August 7.

Finance industry veteran Roshan Kumar has joined as the group chief financial officer (CFO) to spearhead the company's financial roadmap. Kumar has two decades of experience in global finance, strategy, and capital markets and has previously held leadership positions in organisations such as Piramal and Maersk.

"My focus will be on driving sustainable growth, strengthening financial discipline, and ensuring we have the right capital strategy to power our ambitions," Kumar said.

JetSynthesys has also appointed Jogesh Lulla as senior vice president–sports to lead initiatives that would expand the company's footprint in the sports and sports tech sector, including its cricket esports tournament, Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL).

Lulla co-founded Cornerstone Sport, a talent management agency representing athletes across the country. He was responsible for overseeing all digital and technology-related businesses at the agency.

"Sports tech is transforming how fans engage and how athletes train. JetSynthesys is uniquely placed to innovate in this space, and I look forward to building products and partnerships that redefine the category," Lulla said.

The company has also hired Nupur Srivastava as the head of Growth. Srivastava has worked with brands such as Sony Pictures Networks India and Viacom18, helping them market and scale consumer-tech businesses.

“The opportunity to blend data, creativity, and technology to craft growth stories for both B2B and B2C audiences is what excites me most. JetSynthesys has the right mix to create impact at scale, and I’m thrilled to be part of this journey,” Srivastava said.

These hires come as JetSynthesys focuses on scaling its consumer and enterprise offerings. In April, the company secured fresh investment in a round led by South Korean gaming giant Krafton to fuel its global expansion and strengthen its technology investments.

The round also saw participation from NAFA Private Equity and existing investors Pratithi Investments, a private investment arm of the Kris Gopalakrishnan Family Office, Adar Poonawalla-led Serum Institute and the Navani family-owned Jetline Group. JetSynthesys is a part of the diversified Jetline Group of Companies,

Founded in 2014 by Rajan Navani, JetSynthesys operates a range of businesses spanning video gaming, digital entertainment, music, and sports sectors.

In April, the firm also launched JetAlive, a vertical focused on creating the next generation of 'phygital' (physical plus digital) live experiences, aiming to capitalise on India's rapidly growing live entertainment market.

“We are building for the future, and that starts with people who share our vision and entrepreneurial drive. Roshan, Jogesh, and Nupur bring a wealth of expertise that will strengthen our leadership and help accelerate our ambition to shape the digital entertainment and sports tech landscape globally,” Navani said.
