Sell Ajanta Pharma; buy Castrol India, Tata Elxsi, GMDC, HCC: Mitessh Thakkar

Mitessh Thakkar of mitesshthakkar.com told CNBC-TV18, "I have one sell from the pharma side. We had a sell on Lupin yesterday. Ajanta Pharma also had a big breakdown below key levels of Rs 1,700. So keeping a slightly positioning kind of a view, I would keep a stop loss at Rs 1,706 and look for target of around Rs 1,520."

"The buy calls – couple of names from the F&O side are Castrol India where we had a swing breakout. So that is a buy with a stop loss below Rs 435, look for target of Rs 475. Tata Elxsi is another one on the list. It had a very strong intraday set up, much like the index. So I would buy this with a stop loss at Rs 1,560 for target of Rs 1,520," he said.

"Two midcap names, GMDC is a buy with a stop loss at Rs 123, look for target of Rs 135 and HCC again managed to get past the earlier highs of Rs 44-45. So buy with a stop loss below Rs 44 and look for a first target of Rs 50."
