Sundaram MF launches Sundaram Select Micro Cap - Series I

Sundaram Mutual Fund has launched new scheme as Sundaram Select Micro Cap, Series I, a five-year closed-end equity scheme, which aims to invest predominantly, between 65-100 percent, in equity or equity-related instruments of companies that can be termed as micro-caps.

Sundaram Mutual Fund has launched a new five-year closed-end equity scheme as Sundaram Select Micro Cap - Series I, which aims to invest predominantly, between 65-100 percent, in equity or equity-related instruments of companies that can be termed as micro-caps.

The scheme has no entry load and the units of the scheme will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) within five business days from the date of allotment.

The New Fund Offer (NFO), opened for the subscription on December 16, 2013 and closes onDecember 30, 2013.

Sundaram Mutual has entrusted Sundaram Select Micro Cap’s fund management to Mr. S.Krishna Kumar.

The performance of the scheme is benchmarked against S&P BSE Small Cap Index.

The scheme will invest in companies whose market capitalisation is equal to or lower than that of the 301st stock by market cap on the NSE at the time of investment to be in micro-cap category.
