    The end of day process for Monday's trade were delayed due to technical glitch, MCX said.

    Commodity exchange MCX has informed investors about a technical glitch in the 'end-of-day processes' for Monday's trade, which has resulted in a delay.

    The exchange said on July 9, that the special session for the day will start at 9:45 am and market will trading will begin from 10 am today.

    End-of-day processes for any exchange are crucial to ensure transactions are accurately updated and maintained. The process can involve reconciling orders between transacting parties, creating end-of-day reports, backing up of data, review of risk exposure and margin requirements, internal compliance checks, and other aspects.
