The company's subsidiary, Ceigall Ludhiana Bathinda Greenfield Highway, has received the ‘appointed date’ from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a project worth Rs 981 crore. The project involves the development of a 6-lane access-controlled Ludhiana–Bathinda Greenfield highway section in Punjab on Hybrid Annuity Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojna Phase-I (Package 2).
Additionally, Ceigall India (CIL) has announced that its joint venture with JSP Projects (CIL holding 80% and JSPPPL 20%) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) for an infrastructure development project worth Rs 509.20 crore. The project is to be executed within 24 months under an item-rate contract.
The company has signed a new Long-Term Contract & Price Agreement (LTCPA) with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan, valued at Rs 651 crore, for the supply of highly engineered and complex rotating and stationary airfoils for advanced gas and thermal power turbine engines to meet their global demand in the power generation industry.

The Board has approved two new projects worth Rs 705.5 crore. Under the first project, worth Rs 209.68 crore, the company will implement a VOIP Communication System for Grid Operation for all five regions. Under the second project, worth Rs 495.83 crore, it will implement Disaster Preparedness of Transmission Infrastructure: Procurement of 20 sets (300 towers) of Emergency Restoration System (ERS) under the Make in India initiative.

The Joint Commissioner, CGST & Central Excise, Patna, has imposed a penalty amounting to Rs 526.84 crore on alleged GST liability on the subsidy receivable from the Government of India on fertilisers and for the wrong availment of ITC pertaining to FY 2018–19 to FY 2022–23.

Promoter group entities offloaded a 6.22% stake in VIP for Rs 343.2 crore, with Kiddy Plast selling 10.87 lakh shares at Rs 388 per share, and Piramal Vibhuti Investments selling 77.5 lakh shares at Rs 388.25 per share.
However, Multiples Private Equity Gift Fund IV and Samvibhag Securities acquired 82.2 lakh shares (5.85% stake) in VIP Industries at Rs 388 per share for Rs 319.07 crore.
