Shares of GR Infraprojects climbed 6 percent after the company finalised an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) agreement for a Rs 1,885.63 crore infrastructure project in Maharashtra.
The project involves the construction of an access-controlled ring road in Pune, covering 9.34 kilometers from Kalyan/Rathwade village to Shivare/Kusgaon village. This contract, executed with Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (MSRDC), is set to be completed within 36 months from the appointed date.
At 9:30 AM, shares of GR Infraprojects traded 4 percent higher at Rs 1,616. The stock has gained 43 percent on a year-to-date basis, outperforming the Nifty 50, which has risen 12 percent over the same period.

As of June 30, 2024, G R Infraprojects' order book stood at Rs 14,974.6 crore.
G R Infraprojects reported net sales of Rs 1,896.54 crore the quarter ended June, marking a 12 percent decline from Rs 2,152.41 crore recorded in the year ago period. The company's quarterly net profit fell 27 percent to Rs 152 crore, compared to Rs 208 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA also saw a slight dip, standing at Rs 354.8 crore in June 2024, down 3 percent from Rs 365.8 crore in June 2023.
