Gopal Snacks Limited (BSE: 544140; NSE: GOPAL) announced on September 9, 2025, that it has entered into long-term agreements for third-party manufacturing facilities at Hiryur (Karnataka) and Kashipur (Uttarakhand). These facilities are expected to enhance the company's market penetration and strengthen its distribution network across Southern and Northern India.
The Hiryur plant in Karnataka features an installed capacity of 4,400 MTPA and will produce wafers, snack pallets, and corn products. The operational strategy is focused on strengthening the company's presence in the South, improving service to dealers, and ensuring deeper market penetration.
The Kashipur plant in Uttarakhand has an installed capacity of 5,900 MTPA and will manufacture namkeen (including gathiya), snack pallets, and corn products. This facility aims to strengthen Gopal Snacks' presence in the North, enhance dealer service, and achieve deeper market penetration.
Mr. Bipin Hadvani, Chairman of Gopal Snacks, commented that these new facilities mark a significant step in building a stronger and more flexible supply chain. He added that leveraging strategic partnerships through third-party arrangements will enhance the company's ability to serve customers across India while maintaining product quality and scale. These facilities are also expected to strengthen relationships with dealers and distributors, creating long-term value for all stakeholders.
