    The Chinkerpoo Family Trust, with Shobha Gangwal and JP Morgan Trust Company of Delaware as trustees, sold a 1.3% stake in InterGlobe Aviation, the country’s largest low-cost airline, for Rs 2,933.4 crore through open market transactions on Thursday.

    The Chinkerpoo Family Trust sold 25.2 lakh shares each at Rs 5,814.71 per share, and Rs 5,825.72 per share, respectively, in InterGlobe, the bulk deals data showed.

    Shobha Gangwal is the wife of Rakesh Gangwal who is the co-founder of InterGlobe along with Rahul Bhatia.

    As of June 2025, Rakesh Gangwal, and The Chinkerpoo Family Trust had held 7.81 percent stake in the IndiGo operator.

    InterGlobe Aviation shares fell sharply by 5.34 percent to finish at Rs 5,727 on the NSE.

    Moneycontrol quoting CNBC Awaaz sources had reported on August 27 that Rakesh Gangwal family was set to offload 3.1 percent stake in IndiGo via block deals.

    Meanwhile, RBL Bank shares were also in focus, falling 1.8 percent to Rs 250.85 despite Societe Generale net bought 31,49,445 shares in the private sector lender at Rs 250.57 per share, valued at Rs 78.9 crore.
