Here are experts equity calls for the day on how the markets are expected to trade:

Ridham Desai, Morgan Stanley: Our FY13 Sensex EPS estimate is slightly higher than consensus at Rs 1,339. During the past one month we have revised down the FY13 Sensex growth forecasts by 1.6 percentage point and expect Sensex earnings to grow 12.1% this fiscal. Since the start of 2012, the MSCI Technology has seen the max upward earnings growth revision while MSCI Telecom saw most downgrades

Ethan Harris, BofA ML: We expect downward revisions to the forecasts at the next Fed meeting, a strong likelihood of rate guidance extension and consideration of QE3. We continue to expect the Fed to push rate guidance on to late-2015 from late-2014 in its September meeting and believe QE3 is likely before year-end.
