Here are experts equity calls for the day on how the markets are expected to trade:

Ridham Desai, Morgan Stanley: The market is acutely sensitive to global outcomes, in fact, much more than to local outcomes. While sentiment remains fragile, liquidity is better at the margin. Arguably, valuations are attractive, notwithstanding the dispersion.

Nandan Chakraborty, Enam: The ECB announcement gave a leg up to markets including India as this has allayed fears of a catastrophic Eurozone meltdown. However, the world economy looks more recessionary than ever. Markets seem to be banking on hope of an eventual govt move on fuel price hike. However, macro uncertainty continues to weigh on sentiment due to inconsistency in government talk and action, even as time is fast running out.
