Bullish on emerging market equities: Citigroup

Here are experts equity calls for the day on how the markets are expected to trade:

Markus Rosgen, Citigroup: We are bullish on the outlook for emerging market (EM) equities with a 12-month target of 1150, that's a 22 percent upside. This is because consensus is underweight EMs even though, liquidity is ample, earnings are outperforming developed markets and valuations look cheap. However, within that we are underweight India and Brazil.

Michael Kurtz, Nomura: Fed taper expectations are pretty much fully embedded in asset prices for now. A strong dollar could prove a substantial headwind for emerging market's relative performance. China's continued rebalancing away from investment-led growth leaves us cautious on any sustained price recovery for energy or metal prices in the H2.
