The Indian rupee opened at 44.93 per dollar versus 45.04 yesterday.

The Indian rupee opened at 44.93 per dollar versus 45.04 yesterday.

Pramit Brahmbhatt, Alpari India said that, "The rupee remains strong after the recovery in the equity market and hopes of resolution of the Libyan crisis. Expectation of fund flows may also support the currency. The range for the day is 44.75- 45."
