    Coal India bullish on volume growth: NC Jha

    NC Jha, Coal India’s chairman, said that India’s coal production has slowed down in the past two months due to heavy rains, yet he is bullish about his company’s growth targets.

    State-run Coal India says it is on track to produce 452 million tonne coal this financial year, even as the company missed its production target for June because of heavy rains.

    Last year, Coal India had produced 424 million tones of coal.
