SMEL Q2 PAT seen up 53.3% YoY to Rs. 170 cr: ICICI Securities

    ICICI Securities has come out with its second quarter (July-September’ 24) earnings estimates for the Metals sector. The brokerage house expects SMEL to report net profit at Rs. 170 crore up 53.3% year-on-year (down 27.7% quarter-on-quarter).

    Net Sales are expected to decrease by 5.8 percent Y-o-Y (down 12.2 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 2,905 crore, according to ICICI Securities.

    Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to rise by 32.4 percent Y-o-Y (down 20.4 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 322.5 crore.
