Seeing good traction, expect to end FY18 with good & positive result: SBI Life

SBI Life Insurance saw strong growth in gross premium and assets under management (AUM) while margins and ROE improved in the third quarter. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Arijit Basu, MD & CEO of SBI Life Insurance spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.

We continue on a very strong growth both in terms of revenue as well as in terms of our profitability metrics in Q4, he said.

We are showing 24 percent growth in accounting profits. Our new business margins also have improved from 15.4 percent to 16 percent in Q3, he added.

Q4 is always the strongest quarter. We are seeing very good traction and we should be ending the year with a very good and positive result, said Basu.
