Aditya Ultra Steel Ltd, a rolled steel products manufacturer, has posted a net profit of Rs 5.87 crore for the April-September period of 2024-25, the company said in a statement on Saturday.
The company reported revenue from operations at Rs 312.39 crore during the first half of the fiscal, with operating profit standing at Rs 10.50 crore.
For the financial year 2023-24, the company had recorded revenue of Rs 587.80 crore and a profit of Rs 7.69 crore.
Aditya Ultra Steel made its market debut on the NSE SME platform in September after raising Rs 46 crore through an initial public offering (IPO). The shares were listed at Rs 69.90 apiece, reflecting a premium of 12.74 per cent over the issue price. The IPO had garnered robust demand, being subscribed nearly 10 times on the final day of bidding on September 11.
In a significant move, the company has announced plans to set up a 5 MW solar power plant in Jasdan, Rajkot, Gujarat, with an investment of Rs 15 crore.
Aditya Ultra Steel Managing Director Sunny Sunil Singhi stated, “The solar power plant, with a capacity of 5,000 KWP, will cater to our energy requirements and boost sustainability efforts.”
The company operates a manufacturing facility in Wankaner, Gujarat, with an annual production capacity of 1,08,000 metric tonnes (MT) of TMT bars.
