An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Nathan is currently co-founder and chairman of Visara Human Capital Consulting.

Deloitte India’s partner and Chief Talent Officer SV Nathan has resigned to start an HR consulting firm. Nathan joined Deloitte in 2015 and worked for over 19 years at the consulting firm.

Nathan has over 30 years of experience in HR management, across diverse industries including Manufacturing, Hospitality, IT, Telecom, and Professional Services.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Nathan is currently co-founder and chairman of Visara Human Capital Consulting.

“....Nineteen long years and have decided to retire from one of the greatest organizations that I have ever worked for. Not easy. Your identity is shaped by the company you keep, perhaps. Certainly, it is as such for me,” Nathan said in a LinkedIn post.

“What attracted me to the firm was the politeness of the people who I met. And business like. And human centered. Considerate, compassionate. (You can already see that I am beginning to get overboard with this). My first job at the XLRI campus was with ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries). An outstanding British MNC. Joined them in Gomia, Bihar. A superb organization where I sharpened my skills and learnt to be a human, and a professional. Thereon, moved through Sterling Holidays, Microland, Philips and Reliance. More learning, as each was in a different industry. Joined Deloitte US Firms in Hyderabad and served for ten years before moving to the Deloitte India firm. Both outstanding organizations,” the post added.

In the past, he has worked with Reliance Infocomm, Planetasia (GCI), Microland among others, in various HR roles.
