Taxi hailing app Ola announced schemes for its driver partners offering a benefit of up to Rs 1,50,000 on exchange of diesel vehicles and paying off first two EMIs for those who go for new CNG vehicles.

"Ola will be helping to reduce the financial burden on new driver-partners by supporting its driver partners pay off the first two EMIs," Ola said in a statement.

The company is organising 5 Day camp starting March 18 at Gurgaon where it is inviting driver partners across Delhi NCR to come and avail benefits of up to Rs 1,50,000 on exchange of existing Diesel vehicles for new CNG vehicles.

"Driver partners can also benefit of free CNG Kits, free Car Insurance, free Vehicle Registration and a lot more at Ola Pragati Mahotsav," the statement said.

For this camp, Ola has partnered with dealers of leading car manufacturers including Hyundai, Tata Nissan, Chevrolet, Fiat and Maruti amongst others.

The company has brought on board banking and financial institutions including State Bank of India, IDBI, Shri Ram Finance amongst others.

"This is yet another initiative by Ola to promote adoption of CNG vehicles and encourage entrepreneurship amongst the cab driver community in Delhi NCR," the statement said.

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday directed Ola, Uber and the radio taxis' association to give details, including registration numbers, of those cabs which they intend to phase out by March 31 as per the Supreme Court's order.

The court gave Ola, Uber and the association time till April 10 to file the details along with an affidavit in a sealed cover and listed it for hearing on April 18.
