InterGlobe Enterprises, the parent company of domestic carrier IndiGo, has announced the appointment of Aditya Pande as its Group Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 01 March 2024.
Except for IndiGo, Pande will have overall responsibility for setting InterGlobe's strategic agenda and overseeing the company’s line businesses and the corporate staff functions, Interglobe said in a statement.
Pande joined Interglobe after resigning as B2B e-commerce startup Udaan's chief financial officer (CFO) after being there for three years, the latest exit in a growing list of top-level executives who have left the startup over the past few months. Before that, he worked at IndiGo, General Electric, and Arthur Andersen. Aditya brings with him rich experience in engaging with business partners, investors, and analysts.
With over 25 years of experience, the executive will report to Rahul Bhatia, CEO of InterGlobe Enterprises, and all the existing direct reports will, in turn, report to him.
"This imperative move by InterGlobe is to strengthen its current Leadership team as it moves ahead with its ambitious and diversified global plans," the company said in a statement.
