Kernex Microsystems eyes overseas markets for future growth

Q: Could you give us your plan to enter into new markets Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Bangladesh. When does it all come on stream and how larger your dream at least for FY12?


A: In the next six months we will be very aggressively following these markets for our automatic electronic gates and multi section digital axle counters and other related products.


Q: Are you setting up any kind of site over there or manufacturing or have you tied up with any export orders already for the next six months?


A: No, we are in the process of having advanced stage discussion with people and lots of bidding are happening for various small contracts here and there. We expect to conclude our contracts in next two-three months.


Q: Can you take us through the rationale why you look to diversify geographically?

A: Basically, the Indian market is going very slow. Our products would be very useful for railway infrastructure therefore we are looking forward to these countries. This is because in the next five -10 years railways are going to play a very important role especially, in South-East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and also in Bangladesh and also some of the African countries. So, we want to aggressively market our products in these countries that
