Harrrisons Malayalam hopes invst arm will list in 10 days

Pankaj Kapoor, the MD of the rubber firm, in an interview on CNBC-TV18, says the proportion of business revenue being generated from rubber and tea is changing. FY10 saw rubber and tea adding 50% to the revenue.


Harrrisons Malayalam has seen robust gains in an otherwise down market. The rubber-growing giant is looking to scale up its focus on its rubber business which is expected to generate 60-65% in revenues in FY11.

Even though rubber prices are at all time highs, and continue to move steeply higher, Kapoor expects prices to stay elevated going forward.
