US software firm Oracle said on Thursday the managing director of its Indian arm was quitting to pursue other opportunities, the latest in a line of top-level exits at the Indian operations of global IT firms.

US software firm Oracle said on Thursday the managing director of its Indian arm was quitting to pursue other opportunities, the latest in a line of top-level exits at the Indian operations of global IT firms.
Bhaskar Pramanik will be replaced by Sandeep Mathur, who was previously vice president-technology at Oracle India, the company said in a statement.Last month, Microsoft said the chairman of its Indian unit, Ravi Venkatesan, had decided to leave the company, the second top official to quit the software giant in six months.Microsoft India's former managing director, Rajan Anandan, who left the company last year, was named head of Google's India operations in January.Third-ranked Indian outsourcer Wipro replaced the joint chief executives of its core outsourcing business earlier this year with a company veteran, TK Kurien, to make the organisation structure simpler.
