Infrastructure Development Finance Co or IDFC Friday said it has collected Rs 228.05 crore through the third tranche of the public issue of long term infrastructure bonds.
The company had set a target to raise up to Rs 2,172 crore via the third tranche of bond issue.
The issue closed for subscription on March 21.
IDFC had raised around Rs 765 crore through the second tranche and Rs 436 crore via first tranche of the long term infrastructure bond issue.
The bonds were eligible for tax benefits under 80CCF, where in up to Rs 20,000 invested would be deducted from individual's tax liability.
