Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "Titan Company did not really correct even while the market came off. So, that is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 628 and target of Rs 650. BEML is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 1,640 and target of Rs 1,710. Voltas is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 530 and target of Rs 565. "
"The clear sectors are the ones which are winning toady which are consumers, NBFCs. Get into those sort of spaces which are making new highs."
"If a stock can’t give you an exit, then there is no point being a long term investor in these things. We saw what happened with Jaiprakash Associates, all that Rs 30-35 came to Rs 20 in no time. You do not become long term investors in these over-leveraged type groups. Now you can hold on to Videocon because you can’t exit, maybe something works out and some buyer comes in, etc. – that is really a long shot, I don’t think investors or rather retail investor should be playing that kind of game. So keep it as an option trade, if it works out, very good, but the odds are low. The problem is what happens if it falls to Rs 15 and then from Rs 15 has a rally to Rs 25, but you are still out of the money. So buying quality always helps over a period of time," he added.
