Apple CEO’s compensation holds steady at about $74 million

The pay package of Apple CEO Tim Cook remained about $74 million last year.

The compensation of Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook held steady at about $74 million in 2025, with most of the package coming in the form of stock awards.

The $74.3 million in pay included a salary of $3 million, a level unchanged from recent years, Apple said in a regulatory filing on Thursday. Cook had $74.6 million in compensation the previous year.

The CEO drew fire three years ago for back-to-back pay packages that neared $100 million apiece. In January 2023, Apple’s leader took the rare step of accepting a pay cut — a move the company said was spurred by Cook himself.

Last year, a number of Apple executives had pay packages of roughly $27 million. That included new Chief Operating Officer Sabih Khan and outgoing General Counsel Kate Adams.
