Adobe has announced new AI features for its AI assistant, Acrobat AI Assistant, which simplifies understanding contracts. The features enable clients to compare documents, and it adds a new workflow for the AI chatbot whenever a user opens a contract via Acrobat. The design company has said that this feature is known as Contract Intelligence and it can automatically recognise when a document is a contract and generate an overview noting down the key terms and recommending questions.
Adobe Acrobat gets AI-powered Contract Intelligence functionality: Key detailsAdobe via a new blog post detailed the new feature for Acrobat's AI assistant. The company said it developed the new tool based on the feedback from the Adobe Acrobat Contract AI survey. This survey was conducted in January in partnership with research firm Advanis with 1020 US-based consumers, 274 small business owners, 286 knowledge workers, and 202 technology leaders.
The highlights of the Acrobat AI Assistant include contract intelligence with straightforward explanations, extensive comparisons and contrast features that enable secure sharing and signing capabilities. Once a user opens a contract on Adobe Acrobat and the software recognizes it, the AI assistant will generate a contract overview and surface key terms and clauses in a single click. It will also summarise and simplify the contract language for ease of understanding and readability.
The Contract Intelligence feature is now available with the Acrobat AI Assistant as an add-on for both paid and free users. It is currently being added to the desktop app, web client, as well as mobile apps, with support for the English language currently. For reference, the Acrobat AI Assistant add-on is priced at Rs. 398 a month.
