Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim election results 2024 Highlights: The ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) is poised to seize control of Sikkim, but the BJP is expected to hold onto power in Arunachal Pradesh. After winning 10 seats without opposition previously, the Election Commission of India (ECI) reports that the BJP has won 27 of 60 seats and is leading in 19 more in Arunachal Pradesh.
Chief Minister PS Tamang and five-term former CM Pawan Kumar Chamling are contesting the elections.
The SKM has fielded Rikshal Dorjee Bhutia in Barfung and Bhoj Raj Rai in Poklok-Kamrang seat
