Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, known for his roles in Saathiya, Yuva, Omkara and more — and now an entrepreneur — recently opened the doors of his Dubai home in Curly Tales’ video interview with Kamiya Jani, offering a glimpse into a space that perfectly balances style, comfort, and soul. Located in The Meadows, one of the most peaceful areas of Dubai, the villa is an expression of the Oberois’ conscious and lavish living — of warmth, family, and a little bit of luxury.

A Calm Corner in Meadows

The villa is surrounded by tree-lined streets, tranquil lakes, and landscaped gardens. It is an area polar opposite of the glitz of downtown Dubai and embodies a slower, more grounded rhythm of life.

Inside, the home exudes understated elegance — a seamless blend of modern design and vintage charm shaped by Priyanka Alva Oberoi’s creative touch. “I didn’t even select the location – she’s the boss,” Vivek laughs, giving full credit to his wife for both finding and designing the home. Maximalist décor, metallic accents, and artful furnishings add personality and warmth, making the villa inviting despite its grandeur.

Art That Tells a Story

An art lover at heart, Vivek has adorned the walls with an impressive collection of Indian artworks. “We love art,” he says proudly, highlighting his admiration for Indian artists whose work now fills the home. Each piece — carefully chosen and meaningfully placed — transforms the villa into a living gallery. It’s been nearly three years since the Oberois moved into their Dubai residence, but for Vivek, Mumbai will always be home.

Nature in the Desert

“We’ve got all our plants and flowers… we’ve got a little organic garden with some karipata (curry leaves) and some spices,” he shares, gesturing toward his lush backyard that thrives against Dubai’s harsh desert backdrop. The family has recreated a slice of Mumbai here — complete with a lake, fountain, and a blooming Gulmohar tree. Vivek beams as he talks about his wife’s passion for gardening: “You don’t realise you’re in a desert,” he remarks.

Family, Simplicity, and Slower Living

Despite his many hats — actor, businessman, philanthropist — life in Dubai for Vivek Oberoi is strikingly simple. “I try to keep my life simple here — pool, playing with the kids, feeding my birds, going for a walk around the lake,” he says. The villa’s design — with its open spaces, serene pool, and lake-facing views — mirrors that very philosophy: luxury meant for living, not for display.

The Essence of Home

Vivek Oberoi’s villa in Meadows is defined by feeling. In the heart of Dubai’s desert, he’s built a home that breathes — a green refuge where mornings begin with birdsong, evenings are spent by the pool, and laughter fills every corner.
