Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s visit to Vrindavan caught attention for more reasons than one. While the couple enjoy great fame in the fields of entertainment and sports, in their personal lives they remain simple and spiritual.

For their visit to Premanand Maharaj, Anushka wore a simple suit by designer Sureena Chowdhri, priced at Rs 23,900. The actress’s three-piece ensemble was subtle yet beautiful and won praise online, as her natural beauty shone through the understated look.

Detailing what Anushka wore, the designer wrote on Instagram: “@anushkasharma, wearing our Blush Whisper Kurta Set — a moment of quiet beauty, dressed in quiet craftsmanship.”

It further read: “The kurta features fine contrast threadwork in black, forming a delicate floral jaal across a nude beige base — soft, weightless, and deeply detailed. Paired with classic palazzos edged in sheer organza and lace, and finished with a scalloped dupatta that drapes like second skin.”

Virat was also dressed simply, in a white T-shirt, dark-toned brown pants, and a camel-coloured hat. He completed the look with white sneakers and black sunglasses for a more comfortable day out.

Their Vrindavan visit came shortly after Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket. Reacting to the move, Anushka shared one of their photos taken at a cricket stadium and wrote: “They’ll talk about the records and the milestones — but I’ll remember the tears you never showed, the battles no one saw, and the unwavering love you gave this format of the game. I know how much all this took from you. After every Test series, you came back a little wiser, a little humbler — and watching you evolve through it all has been a privilege.”

She continued: “Somehow, I always imagined you’d retire from international cricket in whites — but you’ve always followed your heart, and so I just want to say, my love, you’ve earned every bit of this goodbye.”
