Manika Vishwakarma may not have been crowned Miss Universe 2025, but she surely made an impression on everyone with her graceful participation. While she is great at pulling off almost any attire effortlessly, her beauty in Indian sarees was the most admired by fans.
One particular look she stepped out in recently stood out, for she not only looked stunning in it, but also showed how to rock the Colour of the Year 2026, Transformative Teal, in Indian drapes. The saree she wore looked absolutely stunning, with the colour stealing the spotlight.
Manika wore a striking teal saree by Jigar Mali made glamorous with antique gold dori and embellished handwork. It was paired with a beautifully tailored blouse with matching embroidery. The Miss India 2025 looked delightful as the saree did full justice to her frame.
For jewellery, Manika wore the most delicately designed necklace and earrings matching the beauty of her Indian attire. She also added a maang tikka and bangles for extra dazzle. The jewellery complemented her well-curated look for a day of interviews.
Manika’s makeup has always been the highlight, as she likes a flawless, airbrushed base. Her face was well contoured and highlighted with soft, dewy pink and gold. Her eyes featured eyeliner, kajal, mascara, and faux lashes. She added finishing touches with a glossy nude brown lipstick.
The true showstopper was also her long, thick braid tied together with a paranda. A classic Indian look, Manika looked quite attractive in the desi number.
For those who might not know, Manika, who hails from Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, is quite the definition of beauty with brains. She is a political science student and also an award-winning artist. She advocates for neurodiversity through her initiative Neuronova, which raises awareness about conditions like ADHD.
At the Miss Universe 2025 pageant, Manika made it to the top 30 shortlisted contestants but could not manage to bring India its 4th Miss Universe crown. Earlier winners included Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, and Harnaaz Sandhu.
