When Mouni dons traditional attire, she does so in style with a modern twist. In her latest posts, she wore a sleeveless green blouse paired with a pleated drape and a gold-brown pallu. What especially caught the internet’s attention was her ‘patli kamar.’
She kept the look clean by skipping jewellery, letting the striking hue and bold design take centre stage. Her makeup featured pink and gold tones, adding a sensuous edge, while her bold eye makeup enhanced the overall glam.
Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “A soul adrift, high on the chaos you bring…”
The comments section lit up with fire emojis. Actress Smriti Khanna wrote, “That Kamar.” One fan said, “The only reason for global warming.” Another called her “Size Zero.” An internet user added, “Her walk, her gaze, that drape… deadly combo.”
Mouni also reflected on life, sharing a few words of wisdom in her video caption. She wrote: “How to be loved and valued… you don’t need to be something or extraordinarily talented. Everything is in the now—not in the past or the future. And when I look back now, even though I don’t regret anything, I feel I could have gone through it all with more joy, not pain and suffering. In the next 5 or 10 years, I don’t want to look back and wonder why I didn’t live it fully—why I wasn’t more in surrender, acceptance, and peace.”
Continuing her note, she added: “I know I’ve wandered into a stream of consciousness and mixed up a lot of emotions, but this is my now—what I feel at this moment. I might as well feel it wholly and in tandem with the present. I hope it resonates with some of you and that you try to implement the power of now in your lives too. Because today, and every day, we’re all pretty sweet—for the broken people we all are.”
