British Museum's Pink Ball: Isha Ambani credits mom Nita for instilling love for art in her

The British Museum hosted Pink Ball for the first time ever and it was quite an affair. The fundraising event celebrates and is dedicated to art, fashion, culture and community. Wondering what marked the evening? Well, it was all about celebrating the London museum's Ancient India: Living Traditions exhibition.

The event was co-chaired by Isha Ambani and to support her, her mother Nita Ambani was also present. In her speech, Isha mentioned how she her love for art began at home and credited her mother Nita for it. "She told me art has the power to unite us. Surrounded by the breathtaking exhibition, Ancient India: Living Traditions, this exhibition beautifully captures how India's devotional art continues to inspire artists and audiences around the world," expressed Isha.

Take a look at the post:

Walking through the exhibition, Nita also reflected on India’s rich history and the power of art to unite the world through respect, warmth, and grace.

The theme for this year's ball is pink, as it draws inspiration from the colours and light of India. The event also saw a slew of celebrities in attendance. From Naomi Campbell, Edward Enninful to Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, many important names were present at the event.

Another reason why the Pink Ball remained in headlines was the fashion looks of celebrities from world over. Both Nita and Isha made many heads turn with their fashionable looks. Isha chose to wear an ensemble by designer Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. It featured floral motifs in embroidery. The flattering fit of her attire and the emerald jewellery that she decided to pair it with, both of it made sure she got a thumbs up from everyone.

On the other hand, Nita's vintage, handwoven Kanjivaram saree in pink looked beautiful on her. Her off shoulder blouse and the intricate work on her pallu made from pure silver won many hearts.
