Bhumi Pednekar stood out on the runway at India Couture Week 2025, walking for Ritu Kumar in one of her most stunning creations to date. Her ensemble redefined bridal glam with its exquisite design and embroidery that blended heritage with contemporary charm.

The actress looked breathtaking in the lehenga, which was adorned with glittering ornate work and paired with a short embroidered choli. Ditching the dupatta, it was styled with a beautiful sheer cape, giving it a unique, modern touch — perfect for new brides.

Bhumi’s styling was on point, too. The actress sported a neat base highlighted with gold. Her eye makeup was clean and well-defined, and her bold burgundy lip added a pop of colour to the look. Her hair was styled into a slick, stylish bun.

It was hard to take eyes off her glamorous jewels. The actress wore an emerald-studded diamond neckpiece and earrings.

Sharing pictures on Instagram, Bhumi praised the collection and wrote, "Indian design is more than style. It is soul, history, and heritage stitched into fabric. So grateful to have walked for the legendary @ritukumarhq. Felt every bit strong.”

The collection titled ‘Threads of Time: Reimagined’ celebrated couture, redefining modern bridal wear with modern design yet a strong focus on craftsmanship.

The FDCI on its Instagram handle detailed: “Marking a powerful return to ICW, Ritu Kumar presented 'Threads of Time: Reimagined' — a culturally rich couture collection celebrating five decades of legacy.”

The note further read, “Blending layered sheers, ornate bodysuits, printed silks, and crystal-draped silhouettes, it redefines modern wedding wear through tradition and individuality. Featuring microprints, vintage florals, jewelled motifs, and corseted forms, the showcase honoured craft, memory, and a future-forward vision.”

Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in The Royals where she played the role of Sophia Kanmani Shekhar. In the show, the actress, who is quite a fashionista herself, was dressed tastefully in the most gorgeous designer outfits that became a talking point.
