Aditi Rao Hydari is not someone who follows trends; instead, she sets them by being authentic and staying true to herself. Her wardrobe features pieces that reflect her personal sense of style and beliefs. For a recent event, the actress, fresh from Cannes, charmed everyone in an ombré gown and looked like a dazzling diva.

She posted an album of her look, wearing a stunning black and gold strapless high-low gown with a train. With its shimmering hues and voluminous skirt, it was hard to take eyes off her.

Aditi accessorised minimally with a pair of sparkling earrings and styled her hair in a centre-parted elegant bun. Her makeup was fresh and radiant, with nude tones dominating the palette.

Alongside the pictures, Aditi shared her thoughts on sustainability, explaining how she treats couture the same way she does her favourite T-shirts and sarees. She wrote: "Couture!!! But make it sustainable. I rewear a T-shirt I love, I rewear a sari that is passed down to me. So, I decided to rewear couture and my favourite jewellery from my Indriya fam. Both made and sent with love.”

The actress added: "On a stormy day in Cannes. And for the @vogueindia Beauty and Wellness Honours — thank you for my award! Thank you Bibhu, for your kindness and love always, and for being one of the pioneers to take India to the world. Thank you Indriya for making me your fam!”

It is Aditi’s positive attitude that is truly admirable. In another post, she revealed how her Cannes trip came with its fair share of challenges, but she did not let them dampen her spirit.

She wrote: "My short trip to Cannes was a roller coaster this year! … and then the one day I spent there was a stormy rainy day, not a peep from the sun and many worried faces!”

Her post continued: "So I set out to find my sunshine on a rainy day. Tied up the hair, threw off my slippers and walked out onto the beach to make circles in the sand. Called out to the sun and the sun obliged, just in time, it did! At the end of the day your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling."
