The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the examination schedule for the UP Police Constable recruitment 2025. The board has confirmed the dates for the written examination for various non-ministerial posts, setting the first weekend of November as the crucial testing period.

Candidates who applied for the positions of Computer Operator Grade-A, Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts) can now finalize their preparation strategies with a clear timeline in sight.

Key Exam Dates and Timings

The UPPRPB will conduct the examinations in the traditional offline OMR sheet mode. The detailed break-up of the schedule is as follows:

For Computer Operator Grade-A: The written test will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

For SI (Confidential), ASI (Clerk), and ASI (Accounts): The examination for these posts is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Both exams will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs), requiring candidates to mark their answers on OMR sheets, a format that demands both accuracy and speed.

As per the official announcement, the UPPRPB will release the list of designated examination districts one week (seven days) before the exam date. Following this, candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the board's official website, uppbpb.gov.in, three days prior to their respective exams.

The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall. It will contain critical information such as the candidate's roll number, exact exam venue address, and important instructions for the day of the test.

This recruitment drive has seen an overwhelming response, underscoring the competitive nature of government job placements in Uttar Pradesh.

• For the 1,129 vacancies for Computer Operator Grade-A, a staggering 1,01,396 applicants are in the fray.
• For the combined 921 posts of SI (Confidential), ASI (Clerk), and ASI (Accounts), approximately 77,079 candidates have applied.
