MPESB Primary Teacher Recruitment Application begins for 13,089 Vacancies; apply online by August 6

MPESB has started the application process for 13,089 primary teacher posts in Madhya Pradesh. Candidates can apply online at esb.mp.gov.in by 6 August 2025.

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has started the online application process for the Primary School Teacher Selection Test (PSTST) 2025. The application window opened on 18 July 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online at the official website esb.mp.gov.in, until 6 August 2025.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 13,089 posts across two departments, 10,150 posts under the School Education Department and 2,939 posts under the Tribal Affairs Department.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must have passed the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) conducted by ESB in 2020 or 2024, securing the minimum qualifying marks. Only candidates holding a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or similar qualification are eligible. B.Ed. degree holders are not eligible.

Educational qualifications accepted:

  • Class 12 pass with minimum 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed.
  • Class 12 pass with 50% + 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
  • Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

Age Limit

  • General category: 21 to 40 years
  • Female candidates of MP: up to 45 years
  • Reserved and disabled category candidates of MP: up to 45 years

How to Apply
  1. Visit esb.mp.gov.in
  2. Click on “Primary School Teacher Selection Test 2025”
  3. Register using Aadhaar-based eKYC or MP Online ID
  4. Fill in the application form
  5. Upload photo and required documents
  6. Pay the applicable fee
  7. Submit and download the confirmation page

Exam Schedule

The written examination is expected to be held from 31 August 2025 in two shifts:

  • Morning shift: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Candidates must report to the exam centre at least one hour before the exam time.
