The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the registration deadline for the IBPS Clerk 2025 recruitment. Candidates now have until 28 August 2025 to submit their applications and complete the fee payment process. Earlier, the application window was set to close on 21 August 2025.

This extension under the CRP Clerical Cadre XV (CSA XV) recruitment gives aspirants more time to finalise their applications, especially those who faced technical issues or delays in preparing required documents.

Vacancy Details

The IBPS recruitment drive aims to fill 10,277 clerical cadre posts, officially known as Customer Service Associate (CSA) roles, in various participating public sector banks. A state-wise breakdown of vacancies is available on the official IBPS website.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age limit: 20 to 28 years as on 1 August 2025 (candidates must be born between 2 August 1997 and 1 August 2005, both dates inclusive).
• Educational qualification: A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Language proficiency: Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak the local language of the state/UT they are applying for.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official IBPS portal. Steps are as follows:

1. Visit the IBPS official website: ibps.in
2. Click on CRP-Clerical Cadre XV (IBPS Clerk 2025) under the recruitment section.
3. Complete the registration to generate your Registration ID and password.
4. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in the required format.
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Verify the details before submitting and take a printout of the confirmation page for records.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on two stages:

• Preliminary Examination: Online test with objective-type questions.
• Main Examination: Covers reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, general/financial awareness, and English language.
