Despite being a part of the Hindi film industry for over two decades, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s stardom refuses to fade. Whether it’s her stellar acting or her impeccable fashion choices, she continues to attract attention for all the right reasons.
For those who may not remember, she introduced “size zero” trend in Bollywood by shedding her baby fat for the 2008 movie Tashan. Since then, while she may have regained healthy weight, she continues to follow a holistic lifestyle that includes a balanced diet and regular exercise.
Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, who gained popularity for helping Kareena with her weight loss, revealed in a recent candid chat with Lallantop that Kareena still follows the same diet plan that she was given in 2007.
What Kareena Kapoor Khan Eats in a Day
Here’s a breakdown of what her meals look like: | |

Evening Snack | Cheese Toast or a mango/mango milkshake (seasonal) |

Rujuta added that when Kareena is shooting, she prefers dal and rice on set. At home, she usually likes to have roti with sabzi. Her favourite, however, is khichdi with ghee, something she reportedly enjoys four to five times a week
Kareena Kapoor on Her Love for Home-Cooked food
Earlier this year, Kareena attended Rujuta’s book launch, where she spoke about her love for khichdi. She said, “My cook is exhausted because I ask him to make the same food for 10–15 days. Same dal-rice, dahi-rice... But I can be really happy eating khichdi five times a week. It keeps me happy with a dollop of ghee.”
