Ram Kapoor has set a record of sorts with his transformation. The actor, who has been part of showbiz for several decades, looks nothing like before. His muscular and leaner look is all thanks to his consistent efforts in choosing a healthy lifestyle over crash diets and medications.

On his 52nd birthday today (September 1), the actor took to Instagram to share a shirtless picture flaunting his toned body. He wrote, “52 years old today! I’m feeling healthier and younger than I have felt in more than 25 years. Age is just a number.”

Good friends from the industry couldn’t stop praising him for his commitment to fitness. Singer Shaan Mukherji wrote, “The best birthday gift one can give himself. Bravo bro!” Vrajesh Hirjee commented, “Whoa! Happy birthday brother!” Cyrus Broacha joked, “Gorgeous…but I still like the ladies.”

Fans also reacted to the picture, with one of them saying, “Happy birthday, you are looking younger than Mr Waliya. Incredible transformation. All the best.”

Earlier this year, on Cyrus Broacha’s podcast, Ram revealed that losing weight required a mindset shift, after which things fell into place. He talked about his two-meal routine, where he ate at designated hours — the first at 10:30 am and the second at 6:30 pm. He also followed a strict rule of no snacking between meals, barring water, coffee, and tea.

For those who might not know, the actor lost about 55 kg in a span of 18 months through consistent efforts. To achieve this, he had to forego old habits and adopt a healthier lifestyle for long-term benefits. In his chat, he clarified that his transformation was not the result of surgery or weight-loss medication.

For Ram, the warning bell rang when he turned 50. His health issues and responsibilities as a father prompted him to turn to fitness. The actor now looks incredibly fit and motivated to continue his fitness journey.
