Kiara Advani’s stylish outfits, especially her bikini shot in War 2, have got the internet’s attention for more reasons than one. With an enviably toned body, she is looking her hottest best in the film, and now her nutritionist, Nicole Linhares Kedia, in a chat with Pinkvilla, has revealed how the actress achieved her target of being 'in the best shape for her first-ever bikini shot on screen’.

Nicole revealed, “Kiara didn’t want shortcuts. She wasn’t looking for a crash diet or a quick fix. She wanted something sustainable, holistic—and something that made her feel strong.” This required keeping track of her macros, especially her protein consumption, while remaining in a calorie deficit.

She said, “Our goal was to tone and build lean muscle while reducing body fat, and that meant every ingredient had to be measured—even down to the oil used in cooking or a few shavings of Parmesan on her Buddha bowl.”

Here’s a breakdown of what Kiara ate during the day:

Kiara’s meals were customised to suit her dietary requirements and were carefully portioned. They were light yet rich in protein and fibre, and centred around her shooting schedule.

Morning: Protein pancakes made with oat flour, walnut flour, protein powder, maple syrup/monk fruit, and water, topped with fresh berries and homemade hazelnut butter.

Lunch and Dinner: Grilled chicken, chicken curries, asparagus, baby potatoes, avocado, edamame pesto hummus, and vegetable crudités.

Snacks: Old sattu chaas, which is a blend of roasted Bengal gram flour seasoned lightly with jeera powder and coriander leaves. Rich in protein, it helped her post-workout and during strenuous shoots.

The focus on nutrition helped her achieve a toned look while keeping her energy levels high. Her exercise schedule included resistance training, swimming, and cardio.

Nicole further shared that Kiara didn’t go for water depletion before shooting the bikini scenes. Instead, they adjusted her sodium, water, and fibre intake. She said, “We stuck to the foods she loved and was emotionally connected to—keeping her stress low, digestion on track, and energy high. This journey was more than just about a physical transformation—it was about trust, discipline, and shared ambition. Kiara was incredibly committed. She doesn’t believe in shortcuts, and showed up for herself every single day.”
