Diljit Dosanjh loves entertaining his fans by taking them through his day and hilariously commenting on fancy things in his signature broken English. Recently, the Punjabi singer posted a video offering a glimpse of what he eats in a day. All his fancy meals and beverages are worth a look!
In the video, the singer-actor shared that he starts his day with a green grass juice. He prepared the healthy drink in a blender with neem leaves, a little turmeric, and some water. While he gulped it down in one go, he was honest enough to admit that he didn’t enjoy its bitter taste. Diljit didn’t spare his team either, he made them drink it too. Evidently, no one liked it.
The singer then moved on to an elaborate breakfast that included daliya, to which he added protein powder, pomegranate, and surajmukhi (sunflower seeds) to make it more nutritious and filling. A heavy, nutritious breakfast is considered a good energy booster at the start of the day, and Diljit clearly seems to know that. His breakfast table featured omelettes and a fruit salad spread comprising blueberries, sliced kiwi, pineapple, watermelon, avocado, and dates. There were toasts and glasses of orange juice as well.
On his way to work in his private plane, Diljit enjoyed a lunch that was again elaborate and fancy. It included grilled sandwiches, nutritious pasta loaded with veggies, chicken tangdi kebabs, and more. He also savoured watermelon juice and ended the meal with chocolate nankhatai topped with cashew nuts. Later, the actor continued his day fulfilling work commitments, all in style.
This year, Diljit made headlines for his appearance at the Met Gala in a traditional outfit that included a turban (a symbol of Sikh identity), a kurta, and a tehmat (a long tunic with draped bottoms). Sharing the picture, he wrote: “MAIN HOON PUNJAB #metgala. Inspired by the theme of Black Dandyism, I bring my turban, my culture, and my mother tongue, Punjabi, to the Met Gala.”
The actor-singer is currently busy with the shoot of Border 2, which co-stars Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Sunny Deol, in Punjab. He was the last to reach the shoot location, and shared a BTS video for his fans from the sets.
