Why did Anushka Shetty skip attending the Baahubali reunion?

Nearly every important member of the cast and crew was present at the recent Baahubali team's grand reunion, which was organised to mark ten years since the historic movie's premiere.

The event was celebrated by director S.S. Rajamouli, lead actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, as well as other well-known figures like Ramya Krishna, Satyaraj, Nassar, producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, cinematographer Senthil Kumar, and art director Sabu Cyril.

However, many people were taken aback by the notable absence of Anushka Shetty, one of the movie's main actors.

Questions Raised on Anushka's Absence

According to reports, Anushka, who portrayed the fierce and adored Devasena in the franchise, received an invitation well in advance and had first confirmed her attendance. However, she was not present when the incident took place.

Sources close to the actress claim that Anushka skipped the reunion for personal reasons, but there are other theories as to why she might have missed it.

Steer clear of public appearances. Industry insiders claim that Anushka has been purposefully avoiding public appearances recently, mainly because of worries about her recent weight loss makeover, ahead of Ghaati.

The actress has chosen to avoid media attention until the start of the film's promotion, presumably in preparation for her upcoming release, Ghaati. According to reports, she has discussed limiting her public appearances during this time with the Ghaati team.

A Phase of Low Profile

Anushka, who has been known for maintaining a low profile in recent years, has largely avoided the spotlight after making a series of picky movie selections.

The actress seems intent on reintroducing herself on her terms, despite the fact that fans are anxiously awaiting her on-screen comeback.

Keeravani is also not present. Another key figure in Baahubali, music director M.M. Keeravani, was also absent from the reunion due to bereavement.

However, the team respectfully acknowledged that his absence was caused by a personal loss: the death of his father.
