Bollywood superstar Salman Khan frequently made headlines for both his personal and film endeavours. Along with Aishwarya Rai, his name was associated with numerous other actresses in the 1990s. Somy Ali was one of these names.

Salman and Somy's relationship frequently made the news. Somi herself has discussed this relationship in public on numerous occasions.

In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, senior journalist Pooja Samant has told the shocking story of Salman Khan and Somy Ali’s relationship.

Pooja revealed that Somy admitted to her that she was madly in love with Salman. During their alleged relationship, Salman was accused of breaking a glass bottle over Somy’s head.

Pooja recently addressed the rumours and shared Somy’s reaction to the rumours. She shared that

Somy revealed that she had tried alcohol-mixed cola for the first time on that particular day. She spilled the glass of rum-cola on the table because she thought the drink tasted weird. People believed that Salman had broken the bottle on her head as a result.

Pooja then recalled Somy defending Salman, calling him extremely possessive. She claimed that Salman treated her in a very domineering manner.

However, Pooja shared that Somy subsequently clarified everything and referred to the bottle-breaking incident as a mere rumour. Somy suggested that she would have immediately gone to the hospital if the bottle had actually struck her head.

Additionally, Pooja Samant shared that the alleged incident in which Salman Khan allegedly smashed a bottle on Somy Ali's head happened in a restaurant bar. Somy and her friends were sipping cold beverages. Salman then swung over, grabbed the bottle angrily, and struck Somy in the head.

Salman Khan and Somy Ali's Relationship

Pooja also discussed Salman and Somy Ali's relationship candidly during the discussion. Their story began when Somy Ali, a close friend of hers, entered the field. Somy used to live on rent at the time, but her father eventually purchased an apartment for her.

According to Pooja Samant, Somy Ali once told her how much she loved Salman Khan.  But she was never sure if Salman loved her.  Because Salman had a very irritable and angry nature, Somy had also mentioned that she occasionally feared his rage.
