Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was severely injured in a knife attack by an intruder at his Mumbai home on Thursday morning. The 54-year-old star was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery following the violent assault at around 2:30 a.m. in his Bandra residence. As details of the attack continue to emerge, many are reminded of a similar incident from 2011 when Saif's sister, Soha Ali Khan, experienced a frightening situation at her apartment.

This new attack has raised concerns about the safety of celebrities, especially within their private spaces. Fans and well-wishers are closely following Saif's recovery, hoping for a speedy return to health.

In February 2011, while Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan were dating, they found themselves in a terrifying situation when a burglary was attempted at Soha's Khar apartment. After attending a preview of Kunal’s upcoming film, the couple returned to her first-floor flat. Following a relaxed dinner and conversation, they were startled by a noise coming from the balcony. Kunal rushed to check and was taken aback to discover a thief trying to break into their home.

In a state of panic, the intruder attempted to flee by scaling the first-floor balcony but lost his balance and fell. As he tried to recover and escape, Kunal acted swiftly, rushing downstairs to catch the thief before he could get away.

Preliminary investigations uncovered that the thief had an extensive criminal record, with ten prior cases of house burglaries linked to him.

A close friend of the couple shared the details of the evening with Mid-Day, explaining that Kunal and Soha had just returned from the film screening and were relaxing over dinner when they heard a noise stating, "When Kunal went to check, he saw the man trying to escape. The thief, in his desperation, lost his balance and fell, giving Kunal the chance to catch him,"

According to the latest reports, the police have stated that no individuals have been taken into custody for questioning in connection with the Saif Ali Khan case.
