At the trailer launch of his forthcoming film Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Shahid Kapoor spoke to the media, touching on several subjects, including the shocking incident involving Saif Ali Khan that has been making headlines recently.

Shahid Kapoor expressed his disbelief over the attack on Saif Ali Khan, stating, "It is a very sad incident. From the fraternity, we are all very concerned about the incident, and I sincerely hope Saif’s health gets better. We are very shocked, and to see this happen inside his personal space is very troubling."

The actor, who was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, shared his trust in the safety and security that Mumbai provides to its residents.

He said, "This doesn’t quite happen often in a city like Mumbai. It is actually a safe city, and one can proudly say that even around 2 or 3 am, safety is guaranteed for everyone, including women. But yeah, we are all sincerely hoping that he recovers."
