The much-anticipated action spectacle War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr., and Kiara Advani, has taken the box office by storm over the extended Independence Day weekend. The film, which brings together Bollywood and Tollywood powerhouses under YRF’s spy universe, has recorded a phenomenal opening, collecting Rs 187 crore net in India within just four days. Its gross box office collections in India have already reached Rs 228 crore, setting the stage for a blockbuster run.

According to early estimates, War 2 has performed strongly across both Hindi and Telugu markets. The Hindi version alone contributed Rs 130 crore, while the Telugu version added a massive Rs 57 crore, showcasing NTR Jr.’s popularity and the pan-India appeal of the film.

Breaking down the daily earnings, War 2 opened with Rs 54 crore on Thursday, fueled by the Independence Day holiday. Saturday saw a drop but still managed Rs 36 crore, while Sunday added another Rs 34 crore, ensuring a strong four-day total.
