YouTuber Armaan Malik, who is well-known for his unusual vlogs and family dynamics, has shocked his followers once more, but this time with happy rather than dramatic news.
The family maintains that the news that his first wife, Payal Malik, is expecting a child is not a joke but rather a sincere occasion for celebration.
The news initially caused confusion after Kritika Malik, Armaan’s second wife, shared the announcement on Instagram, prompting many to assume that she was the one pregnant.
However, in a clarifying vlog, the family confirmed that it is Payal who is expecting. Armaan addressed the mix-up directly, remarking that the media had been quick to spread “false reports†about Kritika. Payal herself urged people not to make hasty judgements, reminding viewers that many were “judging the book by its cover.â€
In a deeply emotional moment, Payal opened up about her struggles with infertility and IVF treatments over the years. She explained that after 15 years, she never believed she would conceive naturally again. “Miracle hi hai sach mein. 4 saal baad Chiku hua tha kyuki tube nai thi. (It really is a miracle. After 4 years, Chiku was born because there was no tube.)
Phir maine socha bache hone chahiye. Maine jo bacho ka sukh nai dekha, woh maine IVF se karwaya (Then I thought I should have children. The joy of having children which I had not experienced, I sought through IVF) Ek baar IVF fail hoh gayi. Dusri baar miracle tha. Ek tube mei kaise 15 saal baad mei pregnant hui? (One IVF attempt failed. The second time was a miracle. How did I become pregnant with just one tube after 15 years?)†she said, fighting back tears.
She continued, “Mere liye miracle hai, IVF tak jo ladki pahuchi uske liye normal hona (For me, it is a miracle, for a woman who has gone through IVF to have a normal pregnancy.)â€
Both Armaan and Payal described the pregnancy as nothing short of divine intervention, crediting it to the blessings of Mata Kali. Armaan emphasised the extraordinary nature of the moment in his vlog: “Payal ne naturally conceive kiya hai, aur ye ek ajooba hai. Matlab ho hi nahi sakta tha (Payal has naturally coneived it and it is a miracle. This was not possible.)â€
For the Maliks, this announcement is especially poignant given their history. Armaan married Payal in 2011, and the couple welcomed their first son, Chirayu. Following years of difficulty conceiving, Payal turned to IVF, which led to the birth of twins. In 2018, Armaan courted controversy when he married Payal’s best friend, Kritika, without ending his first marriage. Together, he and Kritika now share a son, Zaid.
This time, however, the spotlight is firmly on Payal’s unexpected and cherished pregnancy — a chapter the family has described not as content for their channel but as genuine “khushkhabri.â€
